Küppersbusch / Teka Group - Madrid Spain

Küppersbusch is a German brand with a heritage of almost 150 years producing highest quality kitchen appliances. Founded in Essen, west of Germany, known in the past, as the biggest mining city of Europe. As a tribute to its industrial and mining roots, we designed a family range of products integrated by oven, hood, induction hob, coffee machine and microwave, using a base of Black Matt balanced with Black Glossy accents. This finishes combination, reminds one of Küppersbusch’s design principles The Strength of Pure: coal and steel extracted and transformed in Essen, the cradle of German industry.

  • Black color has a tradition in the kitchen, furniture, consumer products or automotive industry. In line with current design trends, there is a revival of matt finishes in the kitchen appliances.

Inspired in the heritage of the mining Ruhr region and following the trends of matt black used in kitchen appliances and product design, I created a family range that conveys premium and high quality, being timeless and minimalist.

We choose dark inox finish for the handles and knobs, showing the fiber and roughness of the material following “The Strength of pure” a Küppersbusch’s design principle
